Is it really healthy???

So I've come across some very interesting information.

It's been brought to my attention that food companies are actually allowed to lie to us about what's in the food we eat.

How so?

The FDA has a law that says that as long as a serving size has less than .5 grams of trans fat, it's OK to put "Trans Fat-Free" on the label.

This is horrible!

So all the food company has to do (and they do this all the time) is define their "serving size" to however small it needs to be so that there is only .5 grams of trans fat and call it ....

"Trans Fat-Free"

Trans fat is really not good fo you too.

It has even been linked to heart disease, Alzheimer's, some types of cancer, liver disease, obesity and so on.

So why would a food company do this? ... to make more money, of course.

In fact, I can almost guarantee you've got some Trans fat-filled food in your house and you have no idea!

"According to a study done by the University of Florida at Gainesville, vegetable oil can contain up to 4.6% hidden trans fat that is not on the label." - Truth About Fat Burning Food Diet

Crazy!

Bottom line, make sure that your "healthy" food is actually healthy.
